Scandi-Inspired Kitchen & Living Space in Wightwick

This kitchen and media wall design project near Wolverhampton was all about creating a Scandi-inspired kitchen and living space that felt light, functional and perfectly suited to modern family life.

With a generous open-plan area to work with, the opportunity was not just to redesign the kitchen, but to rethink how the entire space was used.

Our design focused on simplifying the layout, maximising usable space and introducing a calm, neutral palette with natural textures. The goal was to create an effortless, practical and inviting space, with clear zones for cooking, relaxing and entertaining.

A clean, minimal aesthetic was introduced through Pistachio Green doors, complemented by contrasting oak detailing. This combination brings softness, warmth and a natural feel to the space, creating a look that feels both contemporary and timeless.

The layout was redesigned to open up the room, improve flow and create a more sociable environment. A bespoke integrated media wall was also introduced, transforming the space into a truly multi-functional living area, ideal for relaxing with family or entertaining guests.

Quartz worktops provide a durable, stylish and seamless finish, while remaining practical for everyday use. A full suite of integrated Neff appliances, including a ‘Slide & Hide’ single oven, combi oven, warming drawer, induction hob and discreet extractor, adds both high-performance functionality and a premium feel to the kitchen. A Quooker boiling water tap enhances everyday convenience, making daily tasks quicker and more efficient. 

The finished space is a complete evolution, moving from an underutilised open-plan area to a cohesive, flowing kitchen and living space that feels lighter, calmer and beautifully considered.
