Two-Tone Shaker Kitchen in Sutton Coldfield

This recent kitchen project in Sutton Coldfield combines classic design with modern styling, creating a space that feels both elegant and highly functional.

The client wanted to retain the traditional character of a shaker kitchen while introducing a more contemporary, on-trend feel through colour, detailing and carefully selected materials.

Our design focused on creating a warm, inviting and design-led kitchen without compromising on practicality. A two-tone colour palette was chosen, pairing Painted Porcelain with Hartforth Blue to create a balanced, sophisticated look.

High-quality timber Mornington beaded shaker doors were used throughout, helping to preserve the timeless appeal of a classic shaker kitchen while giving the space a more refined finish. Natural granite worktops add a premium, durable surface with unique patterning and texture, elevating the overall look and feel of the kitchen.

Bespoke pantry storage was also incorporated, giving the client a practical and organised solution tailored to their lifestyle.

A classic modern canopy extractor was designed as a key feature within the kitchen, creating a strong focal point while nodding to traditional kitchen design. This bespoke detail helps tie the whole scheme together and adds both visual interest and character.
